Orchestration & Arranging

Orchestration & Arranging

Every ensemble, every performer, and every performance is unique. Whether expanding a piano score into a full orchestration, creating a new vocal arrangement, adapting music for a specific ensemble, or preparing materials for performance, my goal is always the same: to create music that is practical to perform, faithful to the composer’s intent, and compelling for both musicians and audiences.
My work includes orchestrations for musical theatre (including orchestra expansions and reductions), concert work, sacred music, choral and instrumental ensembles, cabaret performances, and special events. Each project is approached collaboratively, with careful attention to style, balance, orchestral color, and the practical realities of rehearsal and performance. From intimate chamber settings to full orchestra, I enjoy finding creative solutions that allow music to shine while serving the needs of the performers and the story they are telling.
